Roman figures include: person on chariot, person & people on horseback, 2 walking w/spears. One steel a little rusty, button needs some cleaning. Small, little over 5/8" (17mm). Back view click here. (Met-16) Thanks to Jeffrey I now know this glass popper-cab embellished openwork item once held a ribbon award which would be pinned onto a garment. Great Art Nouveau design, openwork gilt brass with Popper glass cabochon trim The center color spangled Popper cab measures 1-1/4" x 1" flanked by smaller multi/green ovals. Check the images below. You'll notice there is a large safety pin permanently affixed to the end of a curved brass back piece. Gilt has worn, needs polishing and TLC. Measures over 4" x 2" not including the safety pin area at the top. Closer views click here; here; and here. (1pc avail.) $35.00
